Painting a day 1 of 70

Hey everyone,

I have decided to start a pretty interesting painting endeavor. For my last 10 weeks here at SCAD, I’m going to be making a painting everyday. I want to try and aim to do a landscape painting everyday but it seems a bit difficult to an already challenging task. This is the first of 70 paintings. I plan on posting each painting as I complete them so check back to see the progess.

Last first day at SCAD

Today marks the beginning of my last quarter here at SCAD. Today I only had 1 class. Advanced painting. In advanced painting, students are encouraged to pursue a particular body of work that they will work on and develop through out the 10 weeks. I haven’t quite figured out what I’m going to paint yet, but I know I am going to really challenge myself into making some different work. Check back to see what I end up doing. Enjoy
