Just wanted to let people know, if your in the New York area this month, be sure to check out the Governors Island Art Fair. I just read a small article that I linked to the bottom of the page and it looks like its going to be really amazing. Governors Island is already cool enough as it is but add a massive art fair and thats just great. Not to mention, September is always a great time of the year to explore New York. Enjoy
Friday I got a chance to go into New York City and go to the Met! One of the benefits of living and working so close to Manhattan is being able to make day trips to go see all of the amazing art.
I love going to the Met because you can see art from ancient to contemporary. Being able to see the progression of art and specific art movements is an experience you don’t get to have very often so its a real treat when I get to visit the Met.
Here are some pictures of some of my favorite works from my visit. This trip, I spent a lot of time in the impressionism halls looking at a lot of Monet’s and Cezanne’s.
