Hey everyone,

The last few days we got a little creative here at the office and decided to do something awesome. I had an old guitar lying around at home I dont play much anymore so I figured it was a perfect opportunity to paint on it! We used the new Liquitex Professional Paint Markers. I am very pleased with they way they worked on top of the guitar. We ave it a light sanding and went right into painting, now we are going to let it dry and then varnish it with the Liquitex Spray Varnish!

It was a ton of fun giving an old guitar some new life again!

Enjoy

Painting on Surfboards.

Image

Today in the office we are using the Liquitex Professional Sprays and the new line of Liquitex Paint Markers on a surfboard. A few years back, I used to paint of surfboards a lot and have mostly gotten away from it now so it was great to be able to get back into it again. It was a blast play around with these materials and see what came out. All that is left is to seal it and go catch some waves!

I’ll be sure to show you a video of when we take the board out in the surf!

Enjoy

Landscapes with Letraset Aquamarkers!

image2

Hey guys,

I got a chance to play with the Letraset Aquamarkers today and I absolutely love them! They are a waterbased marker that is designed to perform like watercolor. They are fantastic! The colors are great, they all mix well together, and you can even blend them with water and a brush to get a real watercolor effect and feel. There are a ton of possibilities while working with these markers.

MIKE O’S TIP OF THE DAY: Use the blending marker to pick up wet colors and make some duller colors or a combination of colors!

Today I worked with the two 12 pack sets that they come in and found that they offered all the colors I needed and then some! The double sided tips allowed me to vary my marks as well.

I highly recommend them!
